For our bishops, priests, and deacons, we thank You, Lord.

For our talents and skills, we thank You, Lord.
For our joys and delights, we thank You, Lord.
For every blessing, we thank You, Lord.
For our trials and sorrows, we thank You, Lord.
For the challenges we face, we thank You, Lord.
For the opportunities to grow, we thank You, Lord.

For Your infinite love, we thank You, Lord.
Let us pray.
Dear Lord, increase our gratitude. Give us hearts of thankfulness and praise. Fill us with Your love that we may pass it on to all those we meet. Amen.

ReplyDeleteI came across this liturgy about 2 months ago and have attempted to make this a daily prayer. Let me explain. In the Sacrament of confession I had confessed that I lacked gratitude to God for blessings in my life. The penance given to me was to google a litany of gratitude. By the grace of God I came across this litany. It has opened my eyes that I need to be more grateful of the blessings I have been given. I am confident God will grant me the grace to to embrace a spirit of being grateful. What is left for me now is to cooperate with this grace. Thanks be to God!
